I Love You (Lyrics)

January 30, 2008
Now I feel a little weird posting this song. That is because of the story behind it. I wrote this song for a girl that I never expressed my feelings to. I instead wrote down whatever I felt at that time and converted it into a song !I know what you thinking#@$#%. Anyways, artistically speaking, this has got to be about the the only song I have written on Love till yet. And in the album, it is going to appear in the school section, signifying puppy love, innocent adolescent infatuation and well.., you know what all. So, here goes...

“Mai jab bhi tere paas hoon,
Naraaz hoon, Shukraguzaar bhi
Naraaz hoon, kal raat bhar mujhe sone diya nahin
Shukriya, khwabon me, meri baaten tum sunti rahi

Maine jab bhi tujhe deka hai,
Bhoola Hoon, Jaagi yaadein bhi
Bhoola hoon, yeh zindagi, jo meri hi rahi nahin
Yaad hai, wo baaten sab, jo maine abhi kahi nahin

I Love You, Don’t You Know - 2

Mai jab bhi tere saath hoon
Khush bhi hoon, Hun Udaas bhi
Khush hoon, jaise bacchhe ki, ankhon mai chamak nayee
Udaas hoon, inhi aankhon me, kahin aansoo to na chodogi

Kudrat ne tujhe dekha hai
Woh jalti hai, Hai tujh pe Naaz bhi
Poore Chaand se, Khilte phoolon se, Dhalte aasmanon se
Pehli Baarishon Ki, Khushboo se, tum pyaari ho toh kyun nahin

I Love You, Don’t You Know - 2

Mai jab bhi tujhe sunta hoon
Dooba hoon, Hun Udta bhi
Dooba hai mera dil, in aankhon mai jo hai jheel si
Udta hai woh hi phir, Sun teri yeh Dabi Hasi

Tum jab bhi mud ke jaati ho
Mai Girta hoon, Khud uthta bhi
Girta Hoon, soch kar, kya phir tum dikh paogi
Uthata hoon, tune mud ke hi, Has ke mujhe dekha to sahi

I Love You, Don’t You Know - 2”

Back in those days when we were young, everything seemed simpler and more confused (as in the words of Jim Morrison). There was this sinking feeling in my heart, I distinctly remember. Its the same feeling you get when you go back to school. Li’l memories just come rushing back. Can you feel it already??
