The Trip was short, but no trip is short enough to get a couple of good shots. The Fire Shots are on a shutter speed of 2.5 secs and the Night Sky is on 1 minute. The Golden Oriole was the hardest pursuit, as it keeps hopping from one tree to the other. It took me about 20 shots to get one decent one. The Little Egrets were a pair, hunting for fish in the shallow waters of the Ramganga across the first wood bridge crossing at Khinanauli. They are beautiful, gregarious creatures and are quite common in the wild. Notice the filamentous plumes at the back of the males head and on the breasts of both male and female. These appear only while they are in the breeding season.
